Curriculum

Our small class sizes and low teacher-to-student ratios enable us to develop each child through a challenging and inspiring program, while providing freedom of choice that builds a deep and lasting love of learning.

Krisaliz Kindergarten’s curriculum is compliant with the Education Program Requirements set by the Ministry of Education of Malaysia.

Currently, Krisaliz Kindergarten adopts a combination teaching technique comprising Accelerated Learning, Thematic Learning and Montessori. In addition, Krisaliz Kindergarten offers various stimulating Enrichment Classes which further enhances your child’s development.

Accelerated Learning

Accelerated Learning means “Work Smarter”!

Accelerated Learning techniques incorporate ways of recording, presenting, learning and recalling information in the ways that our brains “like best”. When using this technique, a child can double or even triple their learning capabilities!

Accelerated Learning does not replace traditional learning/teaching processes such as reading, lecturing and discussing. Instead it enhances learning by adding more ways to learn.

10% of what we READ
15% of what we HEAR
80% of what we EXPERIENCE

Thematic Learning

Thematic Learning is a teaching approach where the many areas of the curriculum are connected together and integrated within a specific theme.

Thematic Learning is based on the idea that learning is more effective and efficient when the subject taught is directly associated to real life examples. Therefore, Thematic Learning puts together cognitive skills such as reading, thinking, memorizing and writing in a central theme that allows for real life situations and creative exploration.

Montessori

The Montessori approach is based on the research and experiences of Italian physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori. Based on Dr. Montessori's discovery of “the child's true normal nature", the child is exposed to various real-life-based subjects such as Language, Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Music, and Culture.
